Meet the new varsity baseball coach

Whitmore Lake has hired Scott Pickens as the new varsity baseball coach.   Pickens played at Central Michigan from 1998-2002. As a Chippewa, Pickens threw out 42 percent of his runners and hit 11 home runs. He went on to play three years of professional baseball in the Frontier Baseball League. In the winter of

Volleyball takes 2nd in home invitational

On September 8th, our varsity girls hosted their annual volleyball invitational.  Our girls placed 2nd in the 15-team tournament: POOL PLAY Defeated Walled Lake Western 25-11, 25-13 Defeated Star International Academy 25-17,  25-14 QUARTERFINAL Defeated Olivet 25-20, 25-13 SEMIFINAL Defeated Blissfield 25-13, 16-25, 15-8 CHAMPIONSHIP Lost to New Boston Huron 22-25, 21-25

Varsity volleyball wins Silver bracket at Jonesville

Varsity volleyball opened up their season in Jonesville on Saturday. They won their first match of the day 2-0 (25-6, 25-16). Unfortunately, they fell to Jonesville (14-25 and 23-25) and Addison (16-25, 24-26). The girls bounced back with big wins over Jackson Christian (25-10, 25-13) and Reading (25-14, 25,10) to claim the Silver bracket championship. Varsity travels to Ann Arbor
